As envisioned, the Colorado Health Care Cooperative aims to build local health care capacity, strengthen health care systems, link people to care and promote prevention—all specific goals of the Caring for Colorado Foundation. In recognition of the Cooperative’s potential to improve health throughout Colorado, the Caring for Colorado Foundation has agreed to fund Gerald Friedman’s in-depth work analyzing the Colorado Health Care Cooperative’s feasibility and economic impact.
The Foundation for Universal Health Care is pleased and honored to team up with the Caring for Colorado Foundation to help empower Colorado voters with knowledge about this promising, innovative, Colorado-grown solution to the growing crisis in health care.
