Converge: Stronger-together movements for social justice

Converge: Stronger-together movements for social justice

Organizing veterans Jackson Potter (Chicago Teachers Union) and Kathy Michienzie Rendon (Colorado Education Association) will share successful principles of building successful coalitions in solidarity with diverse groups around shared social justice goals. Potter, who helped lead the successful Chicago Teachers Union strike, and Rendon, who understands not only organizing, but the Colorado landscape as well, will team up to help universal health care activists go bigger and broader to reach a groundswell of majority public support for health for all.

Workshop leaders:
Jackson Potter, former Staff Coordinator of the Chicago Teachers Union
Kathy Michienzie Rendon, Deputy Executive Director Colorado Education Association
