How to create a Facebook Live action for greater impact
Let’s protest, march, and rally like it’s 1969! Except this time, we have Facebook Live!
In this workshop, we’ll put together the elements of a Facebook Live video that will highlight the cause of universal health care. It will end in an energetic short march and rally outside the building.
With Facebook Live, you can make a small rally, march, or event look a little larger. You can do that with big props, a megaphone, lots of signs, chants, songs, a narrative, a great message, and an enthusiastic crowd. You can even do it with two people who have a good message or one person with a good health care story. And it can get shared with your friends and others on Facebook. We’ll have chants and songs on hand, as well as ideas you can use on your own Facebook page to promote National Improved Medicare for All.
Don’t fret if it’s not quite professional. Though you’d like to have someone with a good eye for video, it is not essential. Just get out there and do it.
A must-have in all this is a lively group of people who have come together to promote universal health care.
