Only if a robust replacement is in place for the Affordable Care Act — one that would cover more people more simply and affordably like improved Medicare for All—should the ACA be repealed.

We’re for guaranteed quality health care for all for life. President Donald Trump says he’ll make sure everyone has health care that’s better and more affordable than now. Fabulous! We’re for that. Yet so far all replacement ideas put forth by Congress fail to equal, let alone exceed, the ACA. Let’s hold President Trump to his campaign promises.

We support any changes to the U.S. health care system moves us all forward. And that means a system that guarantees quality health care for more Americans, is simpler, and makes health care MORE available, accessible and affordable, not less.
We also stand with our fellow Americans who care about everyone having access to clean drinking water, unpolluted air, and a climate that will sustain all life. And we also stand with our fellow humans of all races, religious backgrounds, sexual orientations, and ethnicities as our equals. We believe that in solving our biggest challenges, we are indeed stronger together.
