Living Room Conversations – Health Care
Concerned about the lack of civil dialogue and respect for differing views in our current political environment? Do you believe our community is at its best when members know and respect each other enough to participate in constructive conversations about important issues?
A Living Room Conversation brings together a small group of people (4-6) with differing social, economic, cultural or political views in order to get to know one another in a more meaningful way. Using a simple and friendly format, participants express their views with the goals of learning from one another and better appreciating diverse perspectives around a complex issue. It is not a debate. It is an opportunity to build a stronger community.
We are looking for a diverse range of people to help us start this constructive community dialogue around the issue of health care.
