The Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care’s Board of Directors grew by two new board members—and approved a new website and position statement—Sept. 6 at its quarterly meeting at the Senior Resource Center in WheatRidge.
The board unanimously approved the position statement for coalition building and up to $4,000 as fundraising permits for a new website.

Members also united in welcoming Rudy Gonzales and Ashley Miller on board. Gonzales is a veteran activist and the Executive Director of both the Colorado Latino Forum and Servicios De La Raza. Miller is a nurse who is in grad school at Regis University and directs a podcast in her spare time.
The board approved the following statement for volunteers to use when building coalitions:
The Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care promotes a not-for-profit health care financing system at the state and/or national level that pays for comprehensive, high quality, affordable health care services for everyone.
